Privacy Policy

Last updated August 15, 2026

This is a personal site. It doesn't run ads, doesn't sell data, and doesn't track you beyond what's described below. If anything here is unclear, message @techwithlev on TikTok.

What's collected

The only personal information this site collects is your email address, and only if you choose to enter it into one of the newsletter signup forms (on the homepage or the Guides page). Nothing else is asked for, and nothing is collected if you don't subscribe.

How it's used

Your email is used solely to send the Tech With Lev newsletter — new guides, tech tips, and updates. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising, and it isn't used for anything beyond sending that newsletter.

Who processes it

Subscriber emails are stored and sent through Buttondown, a third-party email newsletter service. The signup form itself is Buttondown's own embedded widget, loaded directly from buttondown.com — Buttondown's privacy policy applies to how they handle that form and the data it collects.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you immediately — no need to ask, no delay.

Cookies & tracking

This site itself doesn't set cookies or run any analytics or tracking scripts. Standard web server logs (things like IP address and request time) are kept briefly as part of normal hosting and security, the same as almost any website, and aren't used to profile or track visitors. The embedded newsletter form is loaded from buttondown.com, so Buttondown's own cookie practices apply while that form is on the page — see their privacy policy linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect it.
